November 16th, Information Leafblower ranked the Top 40 Bands in America Today, according to a panel of popular bloggers. Seven days later, Take Your Medicine published the list of The Uk's Hottest 47 Acts, chosen by bloggers and podcasters. Canadian bloggers did it too, with I (Heart) Music and the 33 Hottest Bands in Canada. And from the hot winter of Australia, A-Reminder gave voice to the local blogosphere in The Top 25 Australian Band/Artists.
Now, even if in Italy we can't speak English very well and we don't belong to the Commonwealth, we dared doing something similar and we founded the first Italian Blog Music Awards! It has been a big one-month-lasting bloggers-only survey about the best 2005 Italian music. 67 music-loving writers joined it and expressed their preferences. And the winner is...
